Children at The Mead primary school’s Wingfield site held a Great Wingfield Family Bake-Off for Sport Relief. Children entered the competition by creating six cupcakes with a sporting theme. These were then judged by a panel who decided on three winners. All the entries were then sold at a cake sale after school.
The three finalists went through to a second round where they spent the day in school with their families designing and making a showstopper cake. The overall winner of the competition was Florence and her Mum who made a swimming pool cake complete with swimmers. The Wingfield Bake-off raised £160 for Sport Relief.
