Youngsters from Bradford on Avon Football Club’s Under 11 team will head off for a match tour of Holland wearing brand new kit, thanks to RACS Group based in Warminster.

The company, which specialises in payroll and accounting services, presented two new sets of football kit and training tops to the youngsters at its offices on Monday.

They won a competition run by the Wiltshire Times and sponsored by RACS Group late last year in which the team that collected the most tokens would win a new strip.

During the Holland trip, from May 24 to May 28, youngsters will play a friendly against one of the Dutch teams and enjoy a tour and training session at Rotterdam Feyenoord.

Bradford on Avon Football club runs two youth teams, the Panthers and the Tigers, and provides an opportunity for over 30 boys to play competitive league football.

Club coach Chris Williams said he hoped the new kit would inspire many great performances on the pitch.

“We would formally like to acknowledge the contribution of the Wiltshire Times for instigating the competition in the first place, and congratulate Bradford Under 11s for bothering to collect the most tokens which resulted in such an exceptional prize.”

Andrew Pinnell, marketing director of RACs Group said: “It was a joy to present the players with their new kit which was deliberately styled on Barcelona’s iconic strip.”
