Reopened Bath Arms in Warminster to create 45 jobs
JD Wetherspoon opens its refurbished pub and hotel, The Bath Arms, Warminster, next Tuesday creating 45 jobs.
The company has spent £2.26 million re-developing the existing pub in Market Place – a Grade II listed property and one of the town’s three surviving 18th century inns.
The new-look pub will feature one bar and a beer garden at the back where smoking will be permitted in a designated area. There is also a car park.
Set over two floors, the hotel has five bedrooms on each. All have an en-suite bathroom, hot drinks facilities, hairdryer, Freeview TV and free wi-fi.
Manager Catrin Ellaway, formerly of The Bridge House in Chippenham, said: “Me and my team are looking forward to welcoming customers into the pub and hotel. We are confident it will be a great addition to Warminster’s community.”
Photos, local history, commissioned artwork and information boards relating to events, history and characters of the area will be displayed.
Each bedroom has an original piece of artwork by a local student from Warminster School, relating to architecture from the surrounding areas.
The pub will be open from 7am until midnight Sundays to Thursdays and 7am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Food will be served throughout the day, until 11pm every day.
