A man who was arrested in November in connection with the murder of Melanie Hall has been bailed until June.
The 44-year-old man from Bath was arrested last year, four years after Miss Hall's remains were found near a motorway.
Miss Hall, 25, from Bradford Leigh, who worked at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, vanished after a night out at Cadillacs nightclub in Walcot Street in the city in June 1996.
In October 2009, human remains were discovered in black bin bags next to the slip road of the M5 near Thornbury by a workman who was clearing vegetation. They were identified as those of Miss Hall.
In October last year Det Supt Mike Courtiour, who is leading the investigation, revealed police had uncovered new evidence, including detailed information about the blue rope used to tie up Miss Hall's body and a recently seized white A-registered Volkswagen Golf CTI cabriolet car.
