Hilperton educational agency Apple A Day Supply has a fundraising event on May 21 called Wig Wednesday in aid of CLIC Sargent.
The independent teaching and tutoring supply agency is working with local primary schools, providing fundraising packs, resources, lesson plans and ideas.
Schools can take part with the wearing of wigs for the day or can take advantage of the free resources and plans the company will provide.
CLIC Sargent, which supports children and young people with cancer, provides clinical, emotional, financial and practical support from diagnosis onwards.
Gemma Hector, a company director, said: “As teachers, we know that events such as these can take a lot of organising so we thought that we would make it easier for schools to take part and raise money and awareness for a very worthy cause.”
On the day, Apple A Day Supply will be visiting participating schools and handing out prizes for the best wigs. Any schools interested in taking part should visit www.appleadaysupply.co.uk
