A PUBLIC consultation is being held on Friday, June 13 on proposals to build 300 new houses on a 27.5 acre site in Westbury.
Developers Robert Hitchins Ltd propose building on land north of Bitham Park Road and east of the A350 Trowbridge Road. A team from the company’s agents AMEC will be there to answer questions and listen to concerns.
A spokesman said: “We hope many people will attend. Their views will be invaluable as we take our outline planning application forward.
“It is widely accepted that there is a desperate shortage of homes in Wiltshire.”
The plan includes affordable homes, schooling, playing pitches and a new roundabout. The event is at The Laverton, Bratton Road, Westbury from 1pm to 9pm.
