A woman was airlifted to hospital with head injuries yesterday after she fell off her horse in Melksham.
The 47-year-old was riding in the Shurnhold area of the town at around 7.50pm when she came off her horse.
A rapid response road ambulance arrived at the scene and summoned the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, which arrived shortly after 8pm.
She was then taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
