Westbury Gardens in Bradford on Avon is set to come alive tomorrow when the Tourist Information Centre holds a new community fundraising event.
Summer Jamboree is a project being run by TIC intern Katharina Schwittala, and has already evolved from a small table sale into a day of summer fun activities: There will be a market, barbecue, belly dancing, and children’s activities, including face painting and a bouncy castle, and money raised will go towards the TIC’s upkeep.
There will be a variety of local musicians performing, including the Courage Choir and Fitzmaurice School Choir who will be Singing for Solar.
Ms Schwittala said: “It is fantastic to see the event coming together and to experience how helpful and welcoming everyone in Bradford on Avon is.
“It is truly a community working closely together and I can’t wait to see the results and enjoy hopefully a sunny summer Saturday.”
