It was a wet and cold Friday for Co-op manager Chris Biggs when his staff threw 17 buckets of water over him for the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Mr Biggs followed in the footsteps of millions of other people by completing the challenge in the forecourt of the Sycamore Grove store, much to the amusement of passers-by. The challenge raised £81 for Larkrise Special School in Trowbridge for children with severe learning disabilities.
Shellie Pearce, a member of staff, said: “He was quite calm and prepared himself for it. It was nice to get the staff involved and customers came to watch.”
