Children in Trowbridge will be seen more clearly this winter thanks to optician Specsavers, which is giving away high visibility vests.
Specsavers, which is based at The Shires Shopping Centre, Trowbridge, is giving any child aged ten or under who has a sight test between now and the end of the year a free hi-vis vest.
The donations come ahead of Road Safety Week, which runs from November 17-23, an initiative from national road safety charity Brake.
Stephen Auty, store director at Specsavers in Trowbridge, said: “The safety of children in the town is very important to us and we hope the hi-vis vests will help ensure they are safe this winter.
“It’s also Road Safety Week from 17-23 November, an initiative from Brake, which is a charity we support, so we are helping to spread this message by giving out the hi-vis vests.”
