Canal Road in Trowbridge was reopened just before 8.30pm after the fire at the apetito factory which started at about 2pm.
Thick black smoke was seen pouring from the back of the factory after a fire broke out in a building used for packaging.
Sgt Jim Suter tweeted: "Canal Rd now open. @WiltsFire remaining at scene.
"Thanks to @LidlUK Trowbridge & @apetitouk for keeping us fed and watered. Much appreciated."
Wiltshire Fire Service said that, while crews were likely be at the scene for hours, smoke was no longer rising so earlier advice to keep doors and windows closed does not now apply.
