Subway in Beanacre Road, Melksham, had £975 stolen from its tills after thieves broke in.
The men also tried to steal the safe but police think the weight of it meant the thieves couldn’t carry it out.
The break-in happened at 11.55pm last Thursday.
One of the men is described as of big build and was wearing a white ‘paper suit’ with a balaclava, wellies and gloves.
The other man is of slim build and was wearing a hooded top, a balaclava, tight jeans and trainers.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious should call police on 101.
