DASHING Santas and dazzling fairies will be on display as part of Dorothy Houses' Christmas fun run on December 4.
The hospice's popular fancy dress dash, which is part of a 5km route, will start and finish at their headquarters in Winsley.
Participants, who have to be 12 and above, will be provided with a Santa suit or a Christmas tree fairy outfit, and need to raise at least £40 in sponsorship.
The outfit is included in the £12 fee for early birds who register before Friday (October 28); from Saturday (oct 29) registration costs £17. The event runs from 11am-1pm.
Emily Knight, event fundraiser at Dorothy House Hospice Care, said: "It is a great event for all levels of ability. We welcome serious runners as well as people just looking to have a fun walk, amble or jog while raising funds for the hospice.
"Bring the whole family to cheer you on.”
