FEARS that more bombs similar to the phosphorus-containing incendiary devices unearthed last week off Wingfield Road, Trowbridge, had been uncovered today were dispelled when it turned out to be leftover residue from last week's discovery, and not more devices.
Workmen on the site called 999 when they spotted steam coming from the ground in the same area of the site, but it was established the gas came from phosphorus left over from last week's explosion and was not leaking from more buried incendiary bombs.
