A MAN who is accused of carrying out a stabbing in Charlotte Square, Trowbridge, has been remanded in custody by a judge.

Tyrone Triggs faces charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed article.

The 36-year-old, of Bradford on Avon, is said to have stabbed 27-year-old Dan Brown in an incident on the road, which is just off Timbrell Street, last month.

No charges were formally put to Triggs, who appeared in Swindon Crown Court by videolink, and he did not enter any pleas.

Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case until Friday, July 21, and remanded him in custody until then.
