A COLLECTION which starred the face of five-year-old Finn Martin from Warminster, who was diagnosed with leukaemia, has raised almost £400 in a day.

Staff from Make a Wish held the collection in Waitrose Warminster and were overwhelmed by the public’s generosity.

Finn’s mum, Debbie Martin, said: “Finn went to Lapland with Make a Wish just before Christmas and he absolutely loved it.

“The charity have been very good to us so it is lovely that Finn’s story is raising money to help other children who may be in the same or a similar position to him.

“Make a Wish do such important work.

“When we went away no one knew Finn was ill and it was lovely to feel like a regular family.

“We have also had a lot of support from Waitrose, and are really pleased with the amount raised by sharing Finn’s story.”
