Social worker Emily Woodford is currently on her Assessed and Supported Year in Employment, a 12-month programme which supports those newly qualified in their first year in employment.

Laura Mayes, cabinet member for children, said: “We cannot underestimate the valuable role our social workers and social care practitioners play for the vulnerable.”
