A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following a police pursuit after a van was stolen from a building site in Westbury.
Glen Dolan, of no fixed address in Westbury has been charged with ten offences including burglary, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
Officers were called at 8.20am on Monday morning (July 16) by the owner of the white works van, who reported seeing a man jumping into the vehicle and driving off.
A number of police cars, assisted by the police helicopter, tracked the van through Stratford Tony and Coombe Bissett and onto Homington Road.
The van reverse rammed a police car, but crashed into a tree shortly afterwards.
Dolan was arrested in May following a previous wanted appeal, but was released on bail pending further enquiries before another wanted appeal was issued last month.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court today (17 July 2018).
