A paraglider was winched from the steep hillside of the Westbury White Horse last night after falling 50 metres.
Emergency crews including two fire incident support vehicles, two fire engines, a fire commander, a land and air ambulance, a paramedics officer and a fire commander were called to reports of a crash at 7.30pm.
A coastguard helicopter arrived at around 9pm to winch the paraglider who was taken to hospital by land ambulance with suspected spinal injuries.
