Bird mimic to appear on Jay Leno show

A LEADING bird, animal and sound impressionist from Trowbridge is to appear on the most prestigious American chat show for an election night special.
Tony Durant from Innox Road, Trowbridge, will appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno show, which was filmed at NBC Studios in California last night.
Other guests appearing on the election night special will be Hollywood film star Samuel L Jackson and singer Tracy Chapman.
Mr Durant’s manager, Sarah-Jane Newbury, said: “We are having a great time being taken everywhere in a limo and its such a great time to be doing the best show on the planet as we will also see the election results.
“The producer of the show said Tony is one of the most talented men she has ever come across and she has worked on the top variety Jay Leno show for 17 years.”
The show will be broadcast on NBC’s European channel CNBC tomorrow at 11pm.
