Children's author to attend book signing in Bradford shop

Children's author Ruth Walton will be signing copies of her book Let’s Bake a Cake at a Bradford on Avon shop on Saturday.

Customers will be able to sample the book’s recipe for a Fairtrade and organic chocolate cake from 9.30am at ethical food store Who Cares in Silver Street.

Who Cares owner Christine Giles said: “We want children and parents to explore the major food groups and ingredients using the Let’s Bake a Cake recipe and a fair trade Christmas cake recipe.

“We can really bring the subject alive, make it fun and interactive, and of course the best bit – eat the outcome.”
