CCTV images have been released of a man wanted in connection with an incident at Westbury Railway Station, during which a passenger threatened to shoot a ticket office worker in the head.
The threat came during a row over the price of a ticket at the railway station at about 12.30pm on November 7.
The man had been asked to leave a London Paddington to Plymouth service at Westbury, as he had no ticket.
At the station's ticket office, he was told the cost of his ticket from London would be £140, following which he threatened to shoot the attendant in the head.
No weapons were seen and the man did not get violent, but the employee was left shaken.
British Transport Police, who are investigating the incident, said new information suggested the passenger could be from the Devon or Cornwall area.
Officers have circulated CCTV images of the man they want to speak to.
He is described as white, in his 20s and about 5ft 9in.
He was wearing a dark-coloured pinstripe suit, white shirt and bow tie and was carrying a large, camouflage-style backpack.
Anyone who knows the identity of the man or his whereabouts should call the BTP on 0800 40 50 40, quoting log reference 197 of 07/11/2009.
