Westbury's Community Choir, Sing Alive, will be performing at the forthcoming Westbury Street Fair, and in the town’s Victorian swimming pool.
The choir will sing their mix of world and community songs in various venues around the town on July 17, as part of the 2010 Street Fair, including at Westbury’s historic pool in Church Street.
They will appear on the main stage in the Market Place at 2.15pm and sing in the sunken garden in the grounds of All Saints Parish Church at 2.30pm.
The choir will also be giving a half-hour concert in West End Baptist Church at 3pm. There is no charge for the concert, although donations are welcome to raise money for the charity Water Aid, which the choir is supporting this year.
Sing Alive musical director, Sian Penlington, said: "We are thrilled to have been invited to be a part of Westbury's street fair this year. We are a community choir, open to all, and we really want to share what we do with the whole community.
“The choir also wanted to show their support for the town's swimming pool as a great community resource by hiring it for a fun 'Sing or Swim' session for singers and guests to end our day."
The Sing Alive community choir meets every Tuesday evening in Westbury at West End Baptist Church.
