June in Wiltshire the wettest since 1971

Wiltshire experienced its wettest June since 1971 last month, according to Steeple Ashton amateur weatherman Geoff Witts.
Total rainfall was 133.7mm, just short of the 135.9mm recorded in 1971.
The day temperatures were 1.5C below the average, but the nights were 1C above the normal June level, giving a mean temperature just below the normal.
