Free parking time doubled

A SCHEME offering free parking for one hour in Warminster has been extended to two hours to further encourage shoppers into the town.
The Warminster Parking Partnership scheme will now see participating shops reimburse customers for their first two hours of parking, thanks to £24,000 a year from the town council.
The changes came into effect at the beginning of July, although alterations still have to be made to display boards near ticket machines, and will be reviewed at the end of the financial year.
