National events co-ordinator Graeme Robertson, who has MS, said: “We had a really great day .

“I know what a difference playing golf has made to my life, the therapeutic benefits are incredible. Our aim is to enable more disabled people to play golf.”

DGS is a not-for-profit organisation, which offers free membership with event costs being kept low.

The group is always keen to hear from potential new members or sponsors.
