Thieves hit Steeple Ashton outbuildings

Thefts of items worth thousands of pounds in total were carried out in Steeple Ashton in one night.
Overnight on August 21-22 thieves broke into the side building on a property in High Street, and stole tools and equipment valued at more than £2,000, including a hedge trimmer, grass cutter, cordless drill and nail gun.
Thieves also broke into a garage in Church Street, stealing a white and red Mercks road racing bike valued at £3,000 and a set of TaylorMade golf clubs and bag.
The same night a pedal bike was stolen from a greenhouse in Dark Lane. The Specialized Rock Hopper SL bike is worth £500. An outbuilding on a property in Dark Lane was also broken into, but nothing taken.
