APPEALS via Facebook are producing good results for police in Corsham, councillors have been told.
Officers now want more people to check their social media page, which is regularly updated with appeals.
At last Monday’s Corsham Town Council meeting, PC Hazel Anderson said the page was a useful tool for communicating with the public.
She added: “Corsham Neighbourhood Police Team are using their Facebook page more and more, which is getting a good response.
“We tend to put witness appeals online, good news stories and latest consultations.”
