Pupils’ reunion

A JOHN of Gaunt School reunion is due to be held on Saturday next week, at Southwick Village Hall.

The reunion is primarily for the class of 1991, but other former pupils are welcome.

The event starts at 7.30pm and entry is £5, with proceeds donated to Cancer Research UK in memory of Lorna Letters, the mother of organiser Fiona Thomas – formerly Letters – who died recently.

Mrs Letters was a former teacher at Newtown Primary School. To donate to Cancer Research UK in her memory, visit www.justgiving.com/fiona-thomas1

What a disheartening comment to read. Any charity to do with cancer is welcome, do you realise how many people are affected by cancer and need mcmillan nurses/palliative care at home? If you feel this is a fake charity please notify the police of the fraudulant activity and come back and tell us what is being done about it. This is a good idea and a good cause, end of.
