A GROUP from Summit Chairs in Bradford on Avon, with friends and relatives, cycled 65 miles alongside the Kennet and Avon canal from Reading to Bradford on Avon this summer, raising over £4,000.
The challenge raised money for CLIC Sargent. One worker, Chris Clark, has two nieces – Kori, seven and Chloe, nine – undergoing cancer treatment at Bristol Children’s Hosp-ital and the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Summit are grateful to all those who took part or helped to organise and fundraise the event, particularly The Plough, in Bradford on Avon, for acting as a finish point and for its contribution to the fundraising with a barbecue and other events.
