Mini day at Castle Combe

MiniWorld Action Day is at the Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday – and as well as offering something for all the family, a charity appeal will benefit too.

The popular event, returning for its 20th anniversary, will donate some of its profit to Bath Royal United Hospital’s Forever Friends Appeal, which is raising money for a new cancer care centre.

The day holds a special place in Mini fans’ hearts as thousands of the British cars can be seen and there’s the opportunity to take to the track as well.

Fans pay £20 for a speedy lap of the circuit in Minis driven by some of the country’s top racers and could find themselves sitting next to 2010 Mighty Mini Champion Louise Inch.

Tickets are £12 at the gate – visit www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk or telephone the circuit office on (01249) 782417.
