Author and philosopher to discuss Alzheimer's at charity event

Author and Oxford University philosopher Marianne Talbot will be the speaker at the next Alzheimer Café near Westbury on October 11.
Ms Talbot’s much-praised book Keeping Mum describes how she cared for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease.
The monthly café is for people worried about memory loss and their families and is run by Trowbridge charity Alzheimer’s Support.
It meets at Fullingbridge Farm on the second Thursday of each month from 7.30pm.
The evenings include a buffet supper and live music as well as information on the illness and a chance to talk informally to specialists.
