A WILTSHIRE couple appeared on Channel Four's hit show Wife Swap last night in one of the most controversial episodes to date.

The swap between Melissa Bielecki from Hilperton and Noelie Klineberg from Doncaster broke down halfway through filming after Melissa claimed she was groped. Police were called in to investigate but she later withdrew the allegations.

The show was aired yesterday despite fears it would never be aired due to the massive bust-up.

Melissa lives with husband Adam and their two children, Milly, eight, and Phoebe, 10.

Six years ago the family gave up city life, swapping it for a more idyllic way of living in the country and have turned their home into a shrine for green values.

They run a nannying business called Top Nanny Ltd.

Noelie Klineberg is the partner of millionaire Robin Goforth.

They have been together for five years and live on the outskirts of Doncaster with Noelie's 17-year-old son Danny and Robin's 16-year-old-son Adam.

The swap was in trouble from the start as the two women's values clashed.

While Noelie's priorities were to keep her house perfect and look after every need of her husband Robin, Melissa was more interested in putting across her environmentally-friendly way of life.

She clashed repeatedly with Robin over his lack of help around the house.

Things came to a head in Hilperton when Noelie left after a row with Melissa's husband Adam. He then phoned his wife who left the house in Doncaster.

In the programme, Adam said: "The kids have become stressed and upset and I would be failing as a father if I didn't end this."
