THE fiancée of former Wiltshire policeman Andy Gough, who was killed in a motorbike accident last year, has presented an award in his memory.
Penny Walters, from Chippenham, lived with Mr Gough in Cepen Park before the 41 year old was killed close to the Biddestone crossroads while riding his motorbike in August.
Miss Walters, 37, attended a prize-giving ceremony for Westbury Youth Football Club, to present an award in memory of Mr Gough to young player Kyle Wood.
Mr Gough, who was a police officer for Avon and Somerset Police based in Filton at the time of his death, was a coach at Westbury and involved in teaching the under 10s team.
Miss Walters said she was honoured the club had dedicated an award in her fiancé's name.
She said: "It was really nice, the boys were all very well behaved and sat and listened. Of course a lot of them knew Andy well from his time at the club.

"The award was for the child who had put in that extra little bit of effort to get to the club and become part of the team.
"The boy that won it didn't live in Westbury and so he had to travel that extra distance to get there.

"I also believe he didn't go to school with the others so he had to make that extra effort to make friends.
"I am very honoured that there is this award in Andy's name. I won't forget him and I am glad to know others won't either."
The award ceremony was held at Westbury Labour Club on May 9 to mark the end of the season.
Mr Gough had been a special constable with Warminster police before becoming a full time officer for the Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
Mr Gough grew up in Westbury and was well-known in the town.
On the day he died, he had been to a jeweller to finalise the design of wedding rings for him and his fiancée, who he was due to marry on a Greek island this summer.
In an inquest held earlier this year Mr Gough's death was ruled an accident. The hearing was told how a Vauxhall Corsa had pulled into his path and caused him to swerve and crash.
Wiltshire coroner David Masters has ordered a traffic management report on the crossroads, which is not traffic light controlled, after Mr Gough became fatality there.
