WHEN a group of paranormal investigators spent the evening in a pub in Farleigh Hungerford, they came away feeling they had no concrete proof of a supernatural presence there.
But when they got home and developed the camera film they were stunned to see a misty face staring out from the picture.
The team of investigators from Have U Got Spooks? (HUGS) had spent Saturday evening at The Hungerford Arms after the landlords had reported strange things happening in the pub.

They brought with them a collection of gadgets which they say can measure ghostly activity, and were accompanied by a medium.
The medium suggested the names Mary and Margaret were significant, and when they found a picture of a former resident of Farleigh Hungerford Castle, Margaret Hungerford, she bore a remarkable similarity to the face in their picture.
Hayley Stevens, 18, founder member of HUGS, said: "We had just got to the pub and decided to take a picture and thought nothing more of it.
"It's not a double exposure, and the camera was on a tripod which was on a pavement so nothing could have moved.
"When the picture was taken, the medium did see a huge orange glow surround the photographer though."
Hamish and Emma Curwen-Reed, landlords of the pub, decided to let the team in after experiencing objects being moved around and other inexplicable events.
Mrs Curwen-Reed, 34, said: "We had things with the electricity happen and objects get moved about and lost.
"It was annoying more than anything because we lost our Yorkshire pudding tins on Sunday morning right before the lunchtime rush."
When the team from HUGS came to the pub they recorded lights and glows on their cameras and also noted electro-magnetic fluctuations.
Mrs Curwen-Reed said: "I saw the things they recorded on the video and I saw a ball of light going round and zooming off the picture and then bigger blobs of light moving up the wall and ceiling.
"If that's what the ghosts show themselves as, then there were lots in there."
The medium sensed there were two women in the house and also a small boy, called Benjamin, but Mr and Mrs Curwen-Reed insist they aren't scared and are not planning any exorcisms in the near future.
