PRINCE Harry has arrived in Warminster to begin five weeks of military training.

The Prince will be staying at Battlesbury Barracks during his time in the town where he will complete his training to become an officer in the Household Cavalry.

It was confirmed the Prince arrived at the end of last week. He, along with thousands of other soldiers, will be taking part in exercises on Salisbury Plain.

An army spokesman said 70 per cent of the training will be based in the field, with the other 30 per cent classroom based.

When the training is complete the Prince will become a Royal Armoured Corp Officer of the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals.
