Ceremony at £2.8m business centre

A £2.8M business development in Melksham reaches an important milestone tomorrow.

Wiltshire County Council leader Jane Scott will perform the official topping out ceremony at the Evans Business Centre on Semington Road, Hampton Park.

The 19,000 sq ft centre will provide a mix of 33 offices and light industrial units to suit different types of small and medium-sized businesses.

During the construction phase it is estimated that up to 25 people will be employed on the site each day and the centre itself is expected to create about 170 jobs within the tenant businesses.

Evans Easyspace, who are behind the scheme, is the UK's leading provider of flexible offices and light industrial units for small and growing businesses.

There are currently more than 50 Evans Business Centres open or under construction across the country.
