RESIDENTS are being encouraged to have their say on how Kent County Council (KCC) should cope with the pressure of thousands of new homes in the county.
Up to 116,000 new homes are expected to be built in Kent by 2021 and the county council, together with representatives from Eurotunnel, are assessing how people could commute from France to work in the county.
KCC leader Sir Sandy Bruce-Lockhart said: "Every option which would reduce the amount of house building in Kent and protect green field sites must be looked at."
