Students at a Walthamstow college are to get on course for dealings in high finance.
For Sir George Monoux College has become one of only three colleges nationally to become a member of the Academy of Finance.
The prestigious academy, which boasts US President George W Bush as one of its backers, provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their business skills.
As well as providing the chance to study in an exciting environment, there are a number of paid work placements available.
The Academy of Finance is an extension of the American National Academy Foundation and students taking the course can compete for one of 20 places at the US academy.
The course is backed by a number of financial institutions including Citibank and American Express.
Citibank chairman Sandy Weill said: "The college has clearly become an inspirational place to study for current and future generations of students.
"A record-breaking number of students are being attracted by the college's reputation and consistently high examination results."
