Surely, it's about time to stop the twice yearly nonsensical fiddling about with our clocks.

Many years ago this practice may have been justifiable, before or during the World Wars, to give more daylight hours for labour-intensive harvesting.

Obviously, this is no longer necessary with today's high-tech agricultural machinery.

Therefore, this outdated custom should cease, as it continues to cause confusion, disruption and financial loss to businesses.
