AN ELVIS impersonator is begging thieves to lay offa his blue suede shoes, after his famous footwear, clothes, and musical equipment were stolen, together with his van.

Danny Fisher, 35, has been living in Heartbreak Hotel since his Elvis show clothes -- some of them described as originals -- were stolen.

He said: "They mean little to others, but they're priceless to me.

"I have performed in Europe and at Wembley Arena in those clothes, they cannot be replaced.

"A lot of them are the originals, and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to entertain the same again."

Danny lost Elvis-type artefacts worth thousands of pounds when his white Mitsubishi L300 van was stolen outside his Bromley home last Saturday morning.
