Old Becchamians 60
Warlingham 24
Warlingham fielded several young players who acquitted themselves admirably against a well-drilled Beccehamians side, but were put to the sword in this friendly.
The score fails to do justice to the Warlingham side and young prop Ben Anderson shone for the Warlingham side by scoring three tries.
Another young blade, Martin Kozminski, scored a fourth touchdown.
Two of the tries were converted by Dan Martin, recently returned from New Zealand where he was developing his cricketing skills at a local academy.
Richard Hastings, Paul Patrick and Phil Steggals also showed great promise and, if Warlingham can keep these players together, the future looks bright.
Warlingham's league season will end next week when they play a difficult away game against Old Tiffinians.
Relegation still stares Warlingham in the face but, with some good fortune, they may avoid the drop from Surrey
Division One.
