BROMLEY CAMERA CLUB

Bromley Camera Club holds its 70th Annual Exhibition Daily 10am to 10pm from April 28 to May 3 in the Whitfield Hall, United Reformed Church, Widmore Road, Bromley, entrance is free thanks to the generous sponsorship of Baker Tilly.

At 7.30pm on Monday April 28, there is the Presentation of Awards and comments on the winning images by or Judge, Roy King FRPS

From Tuesday to Saturday there are slide presentations starting at 8.00pm

On Tuesday the presentation is "10 Days Around Mont Blanc" by Kev Reynolds a freelance photojournalist and author of the definitive guide to the classic Tour of this Monarch of the Alps who will show why the route is so popular.

Come to Wednesday's presentation by William Bartlett LRPS "Digital Imaging for the James Bond Film Titles" and see the secrets behind the digital manipulation of images used in the title sequence of "Die Another Day" all will be revealed!

Victoria Golding from the Kent Wildlife Trust is Thursday's presenter of a talk entitled "New Zealand, Its Natural History & Conservation" travelling through North & South Islands looking at the elements that have shaped the character of this country.

Dr Peter Brandham from Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew will take the mystery out of plant ge-netics when he gives Fridays' presentation "Plant Genetics Made Easy" an account of the biological mechanisms behind plant cloning and more.

The Exhibition is brought to a close on Saturday when the Club's President, Peter Ergis LRPS, comments on the projection of Members' slides that will have been on display in viewing cabinets throughout the week with commentary.
