OURRIVERS in South Lakeland are in the best summer condition we have had forsome years with reasonable levels, flow and watertemperature.
On the Kent there has been a good run of seatrout sized 2- 4 lb with a few bigger fish up to 10lb, some of themrunning up as far as Burneside.
There have been no confirmedreports of any grilse, but there should be a run before the end of themonth.
There has also been a small run of sea trout up theDuddon.
So far no sea trout or grilse have run up the Leven orCrake.
For fuller account of where to catch the fish in theLakes, read Buzzer in the Gazette thisweek.
