Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers' season moved up a gear when they won the third round of the Southern League Division One in Worthing, Sussex, on Saturday.

The excellent win moved the club up to third place in the table.

Edgware's 21-year-old sprinter Ryan Moseley completed a speedy double when taking both the 100m (11.1sec) and 200m (22.2sec). Bruce Gibb won both the 200m and 400m B races.

A middle distance treble for Shaftesbury was achieved when Kojo Kyereme won the 800m (1min 54.5sec), James Trapmore won the 1500m (3min 59.9sec) and Anthony Jackson took victory in the 5,000m.

Shaftesbury's winning margin of 38 points was also underpinned by first places for Ronan Breen (3,000m steeplechase), Olu Baptist (long jump), Steve Jamieson (javelin) and Neville Thompson (discus).

In the B events, top placings also went to Richard Griffiths (1500m), Andy Magnall (5,000m), Ibukun Yusuf (triple jump) and Simon Spiriak (javelin).
