A police commander has been suspended pending an investigation into allegations about expense claims.
The inquiry into Met Police officer Graham James followed an internal audit of the expenses of senior police officers.
As part of the process the logbooks belonging to the officers' cars were checked.
They were also asked to fill in a questionnaire.
Cmr James has been suspended on full pay by the Metropolitan police authority (MPA).
The authority has appointed a senior officer from another force to investigate the allegations.
