SIXTH-FORM students got suited and booted at an Orpington school for a three-day marathon of mock interviews after a training process lasting four months.
The Metropolitan Police, Amnesty International and Orpington College, as well as local businesses and volunteers, took part in the three-day event organised by the Jan Lovett Consultancy.
All 72 sixth-formers at The Priory School, in Tintagle Road, were also put through a training process in which they learnt about interview techniques, writing CVs and completing job application forms.
Head girl Amanda Preston said: “I found this a very worthwhile and valuable experience, as did a very large majority of the students. It provided us with an insight into our chosen careers and gave us experience for the future.”
