THE life of a four-year-old girl who died in a car crash was celebrated at a three-day charity event organised by her father.
Andy Hill, 44, known as Sparkle, from Trowbridge, set up the music event to raise money for cancer charity Clic in memory of his daughter Isabella Hill.
Isabella was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was two years old, but after beating the disease she was tragically killed in a car crash on the A35 in Dorset in July 2004.
The event was held at the Rose and Crown pub in Stallard Street, Trowbridge, over the weekend of Friday April 18 and more than £350 was raised.
Mr Hill said: "Bee, Keiver and Sparkle would like to thank everybody for their kind response to ensure the event was a great success. We can't thank everyone individually because there are too many to mention.
"I've taken the cheque down to the Clic shop in Trowbridge. I wanted to take it directly to the hospital but I can't face going back there at the moment because it holds a lot of bad memories."

[italic]A great success. Well done to Andy & everyone involved in this. Definately a fitting tribute to Bella and those that helped her through her illness.[/italic]

My daughter was a friend of Bella's at nursery, and still talks about her now. What a lovely thing to do for CLIC, and a lovely tribute to a very brave girl. Well done to everybody.
