THE annual Trowbridge Lions Spring Fair took place on Saturday benefiting from the good weather at the Bank Holiday weekend.
The event took place before the rain set in on Saturday and was well attended by local people.
Around 25 stalls selling a range of products set up on Fore Street in the town centre to raise money for the various charities they represent.
The Trowbridge Lions Club runs the yearly fair on behalf of Trowbridge Town Council with the aim of providing a forum for charities to raise money for their causes.
The Lions recently raised £500 for the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group.
Richard Loverock, 57, of Paxcroft Way, is the immediate past president of the club.

He said: "We had the good weather which was a relief and meant that it was a very good day.
"The stalls were raising money for Alzheimer's Support, St Johns Ambulance and Chernobyl Children Lifeline amongst others.
"The Staverton CE Primary School May Dancers performed around the May Pole in Fore Street which was great."
The fair has been running for many years and used to take part in Trowbridge Park.
The Lions Club has 23 members in Trowbridge and is looking for more. Call (01225) 762838 for more information.
