BOXING legend Larry Holmes was guest of honour at a Trowbridge sports bar on Sunday.
The Easton Assassin attended the opening of Sugar Rays Sports Bar in Church Street, which was formerly the Coyote Bar.
The former heavyweight world champion, who had a record of 69 wins in 75 fights, signed autographs and had pictures taken with fans during the visit.
He stayed for two hours to cut the ribbon at the new bar and took part in a champagne reception.
Mark Kent and Rob Mills own the bar, which has free pool, promotional drinks everyday and features sports memorabilia on the walls.
Mr Kent, 39, from Trowbridge, said: "Larry was the third best boxer ever in my opinion and it was great to have him open the bar. He is a legend and one of my personal heroes. He went out of his way to sign autographs and had more than 100 pictures taken with guests.

"We didn't have as many people as we thought but it was a great event. Larry talked about his career and joined us for a drink. He was on the brandy."
During his long career, Larry fought great fighters such as Earnie Shavers, Mike Weaver, Tim Witherspoon, Leon Spinks, Gerry Cooney, and Mike Tyson.
He held the world title for more than seven years with 48 straight professional wins and 20 consecutive title fights.
Larry's record still stands today (48 consecutive wins with 20 title defences) next to great boxing legends as Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis.
The boxer stayed at the Old Manor Hotel in Trowle Common near Trowbridge during his visit, but he was not the only famous sportsman staying at the hotel that weekend.
Former Manchester United footballer Norman Whiteside was staying at the hotel owned and run by Tim Burnham.
Raised in North Belfast, Whiteside was visiting the area and picked the local hotel for accommodation.
He broke Pelé's record as the youngest player to appear in a World Cup when he debuted for Northern Ireland in 1982, aged 17.
Mr Burnham said: "It was good to have two sporting legends stay at the hotel. I felt very honoured."
